Kanak Chaturvedi's musical event in Delhi

Singer Kanak Chaturvedi enthralled the audiences with her melodious voice at a function organised by an NGO Samagam in the capital recently.
She brought a whiff of freshness to her renditions which struck an emotional chord in the audience. Sailesh Khaitan, the organiser of the event, said, “Samagam keeps organising a variety of programmes, which covers music, drama, talent search and many more such events.And this was just another one.”
Kanak Chaturvedi sang a few of her favourite songs. One of these was “Laal meri patt rakhi bala jhoole lal” sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Lalit Khaitan, Payal Kapoor, Vineeta Manglani, Aarti Vij, Abha Dalmia et al were present at the do. Other guests who were present also sparked up from the moment Kanak started performing.
According to Sailesh Khaitan, Samagam has earlier organised events like Dhoond Ke Us Paar, Karna, Luv in a Tub, Hasya Ras, Kanyadaan, Dhwani and has provided an opportunity to art aficionados to interact with each other and also with the best in various fields from India and abroad. “This NGO also promotes art and culture and provides an august platform and recognition to artists and emerging talent,” he said.
